Day 1: Transfer to Arusha National Park (2 hours drive)
You will be picked by our driver guide around town or Kilimanjaro Airport and after you will be driven to Arusha National Park. The Park covers Mount Meru in north eastern Tanzania with spectacular landscapes in three distinct areas. It has rich ecosystem ranging from Meru Crater funnels and the Jekukumia River. The afternoon will be for sightseeing and game drive where you will be able to spot elephants, hippos, buffaloes and very many antelopes. Overnight at Hatari Lodge/ Rivertrees Country Inn Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2: Arusha National Park – Tarangire National Park (4.5 hours drive)
Drive to Tarangire National Park which is known for its wonderful birding centre and also features large number of game, particularly during the dry season. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. Upon arrival check-in and have lunch. The afternoon will be spent on Game drive and the driver guide will spot various animals including waterbuck, giraffe, dikdik, impala, eland, Grant’s gazelle, vervet monkey, banded mongoose, and olive baboon. Predators in Tarangire include lion, leopard, cheetah, caracal, honey badger, and African wild dog. Overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge/ Baobab Tented Camp Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Early morning game drive Tarangire National Park – Kilimanjaro Airport (4 hours drive)
Early morning breakfast, game drive on the Tarangire savannah, if you missed your favorite yesterday, please inform your driver guide and he will help you spot it for. Later you will be driven to Kilimanjaro Airport to catch up with your onward flight. Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch.
