4 Days Mikumi and Saadani National Park Tour highlights
The 4 Days Mikumi and Saadani National Park Tour takes you on a visit to Mikumi National Park and you will see elephants, Lions, giraffes, elands, zebras, and hippos combined with a visit to Saadani National Park which is located on the shores of the Indian Ocean and you will watch animals basking along the ocean shore.
Day 1 of the 4 Days Mikumi and Saadani National Park Tour: Dar es Salaam – Mikumi National Park (5 hours drive)
Our office representative will pick you from your place of residence or Airport, pre-safari briefing then drive to Mikumi National Park. It is located between the Uluguru Mountains and the Lumango range, Mikumi is the fourth largest national park in Tanzania. The late afternoon until evening will be for game drive and guide will spot elephants, Lions, giraffes, elands, zebras, hippos and many more. Overnight at Udzungwa falls lodge Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2: Mikumi National Park – Saadani National Park (7 hours drive)
Wake up and have a cup of coffee ready for your transfer to Saadani National Park. The park is located on the shores of Indian Ocean and you will watch animals basking along the ocean shore. Overnight at Saadani Safari Lodge Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Morning game drive and boat cruise
After breakfast, the morning will be spent on the game drive. in the few open areas where a four-wheel drive can make its way, a number of interesting wildlife can be seen including; the African lion, leopard, elephants, hyenas, jackals baboon, vervet monkey, bushbuck, warthog, hartebeest, giraffe among others. The afternoon will isfor boat cruise and in the process you will watch hippos and crocodiles in closer range. Overnight at Saadani Safari Lodge Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4: Saadani National Park – Dar es Salaam (6 hours drive)
Breakfast served, then get ready for the drive back to Dar es Salaamand depending on your flight time you will be driven to airport to catch up with your flight back home. Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch.
